Nestled lakeside in the rolling hills of Peoria's Donovan Park, NorthMoor Observatory serves as both a local landmark and as a public resource for exploring the night sky. Featuring an antique nine-inch refractor telescope, NorthMoor provides our guests with the real time experience of astronomical viewing of the moon, planets, comets, individual stars and star formations.
Join us Saturday evenings from May 19-October 14, dusk to 10:30 pm (weather permitting).
