NINJAZONE AT JUMP START PLUS!
At Jump Start Plus, our NinjaZone program is constantly changing with our students! NinjaZone is a great way for children to burn off all that extra energy, and they learn new skills along the way. Our staff is constantly engaged with the students, knowing that each child is different, and we cater to each child’s needs!

What is NinjaZone?
NinjaZone is a fusion of obstacle course training, gymnastics, martial arts, and freestyle movement with the freedom for kids to progress and learn at their own pace. NinjaZone is a progressive level system that evaluates and advances children in their skills and knowledge of core values as described in the NinaZone Creed. Children advance and learn at their own pace, and they walk away more confident, aware, stronger, and coordinated!
Jump Start Plus proudly partners with NinjaZone to bring this program to Peoria, IL. As a licensed partner of NinjaZone, Jump Start Plus can offer a variety of Ninja classes for students ages 3.5 through 13. Our Lil’ Ninjas program, open to boys and girls ages 3.5 - 5, is an introductory NinjaZone class where our youngest Ninjas learn the ins and outs of the program. As they age, students move into our traditional NinjaZone program, where they must master specific skills to level up. Beginning at age 5, students start in the White level. As they increase their skill level, they move through the program, becoming a Yellow Ninja, then Green, then Blue, and finally, Purple.

What do students do in class?
Each week, classes will practice on three different stations around the gym. Students work on trampolines, floor, and our brand-new ninja rig! Ninjas will run circuits and learn flips on the tumble track, vault over mats and obstacles, and swing on bars, all while learning patience while waiting behind other ninjas. On the floor, classes focus on specific ninja skills, kicks, and combos. We then make those ninja skills ready to flow into combo skills!
In addition to learning kicks, flips, and jumps, NinjaZone is beneficial for all students outside of the gym! Offering developmentally appropriate tasks in developmentally appropriate environments with trained coaches is what is best for kids, which is exactly what NinjaZone does on a daily basis. The NinjaZone program offers skills kids want to learn, translating to individual improvement and success in many areas. Through many repetitions, interrupted by small failures, NinjaZone students learn many new skills. With NinjaZone, kids instantly know what success feels like when they achieve a skill – and how great it feels! Trained coaches break down skills into smaller parts, providing encouragement and positive feedback, even when they haven’t yet mastered the skill. So, even when a student hasn’t mastered a particular skill yet, an expert is saying he’s on the right path to success, celebrating achievements big and small.

Jump Start’s NinjaZone Program is Moving to Our South Location!
Jump Start Plus is excited to announce that our NinjaZone program will be moving to our South location in 2024! Conveniently located right down the street from our North location, the move to Jump Start South will offer Ninjas the opportunity for more gym space, additional class times, and brand-new equipment!
Jump Start Plus is thrilled to be the ONLY gym in Central Illinois to incorporate a Ninja Rig into classes! Similar to what you see on American Ninja Warrior, the Ninja Rig will boast several attachments including the Big Cheese, the Flying Squirrel, the Trapeze, Rope Hangs, and more for students to climb, complete obstacle courses, and more. The Rig also allows students to utilize multiple muscles in the body while enhancing their Ninja skills! We are so excited to see how this will help our ninjas grow and learn along with having fun doing things they have seen real ninja warriors do!
