Who is Way To Grow Pediatric Therapy?
Way To Grow Pediatric Therapy, located in Heritage Square in Peoria Heights, was started in 2019 by Sarah Myers. She aimed to provide life-changing pediatric therapy services for children and families in Central Illinois. Way To Grow is all about making developmental connections through play for children ages birth-18. They offer a variety of therapies: speech-language therapy, feeding therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, dyslexia services, lactation consultation, social/emotional services, and PLAY Project. Therapies can be done in person at the facility or through live-video sessions. Being family-centered is very important to everyone at Way To Grow. They are always collaborating with caregivers and other professionals on the child's team in order to support the child's functional growth. The therapists at Way To Grow all share the core value of enthusiastically helping children through the use of best research-driven practices.

Upcoming Events:
Way To Grow loves hosting events and enrichment programs for the community. My family and I enjoyed the Family Carnival they hosted over the summer! It was packed with so many fun activities and a Julie K concert! Here are a few programs they have coming up that you won't want to miss!
- Way to Bike! Camp is for kids ages 5 and up. It will be led by Occupational Therapists(OTs) Drew and Hannah. It consists of two 2.5-hour sessions that will help your child improve the balance, coordination, motor planning, and sensory regulation skills they need to ride their bike.
When: Saturdays 9/16 & 9/30 at 10 a.m. *In case of inclement weather on either of those dates, October 7th is reserved for a backup date.
Where: Bicycle Safety Town
Cost: $100 (covers both sessions)

- Critical Core is an 8-week program for neurodivergent young people, ages 10-18 who enjoy fantasy, board games, and/or role-playing games. Critical Core is a fun role-playing game that was created in order to support interested kids in developing communication, turn-taking, executive functioning, and social-emotional skills all while having FUN with one another. This program is led by OT, Drew.
When: MONDAY NIGHTS from 6:00-7:30 PM
8-week-session, starting September 18th through November 6th
Where: Way To Grow Pediatrics
Cost: $300 for 8 weeks & 12 hours of group social-emotional development supervised and facilitated by an Occupational Therapist.
