Camp Tapawingo is an all-girls residential summer camp about 20 minutes outside Peoria. Camp Tapawingo is open to girls age 7-17. Specialized activities include our state of the art Equestrian Center, (home to our herd of 24 horses, 2 miniature horses, 2 miniature donkeys, a mule, and a mini mule); our 40-ft climbing wall, zip line, and high ropes course; swimming pool; canoeing; archery range; 3-D archery range, and more! All of our programming is focused on instilling leadership skills and confidence in girls. Girls live in units of about 12-16 girls with 2-3 kind, caring, attentive staff members in rustic cabins or platform tents. While Camp Tapawingo is a Girl Scout camp, you do not need to currently be a Girl Scout to attend. All girls are welcome!
