The Peoria Symphony Orchestra’s Musical Discovery concerts are a special musical adventure designed to entertain and educate children. The concert encourages children to discover all the instruments of the orchestra – one at a time and are held in the WTVP Studios.
The children are part of a live studio audience which includes a program with narration and demonstration of an instrument. The program is taped for future broadcast on WTVP. After the taping the children can get an up close and personal musical experience in the Instrument Petting Zoo where kids can try out the instrument they have seen in the program.
Heavenly Harp on Sunday, February 19, 2017 2:00 pm will feature PSO Principal Harp, Nicole Luchs.
