Peoria Park District Summer Day Camps

The Peoria Park District will be hosting a variety of different summer camps this year. Participating in a summer camp at the Peoria Park District guarantees an enriching mix of enjoyment and learning for attendees. With thrilling outdoor adventures and the chance to forge enduring bonds within a nurturing environment, these camps provide comprehensive programs aimed at nurturing individual advancement and communal interaction. At Lakeview Summer Camp children will embark on a timeless camp journey filled with new friendships and exciting adventures. From classic summer camp activities like arts and crafts to gaga ball, archery, and nature exploration, our camp offers a ton of engaging activities to ignite their enthusiasm. Each week will follow a unique theme, encompassing classic camp pastimes led by our friendly and knowledgeable counselors. With ample space both indoors and outdoors at the Lakeview Recreational Center, there's boundless room for play and exploration. Join us for a summer brimming with fun and unforgettable experiences!

Fees: $180 per week (Week 1, Week 4, and Week 6: $144 due to holidays).

RiverPlex Summer Camp has everything for a well-rounded camp experience! Campers will join their friends, old and new, for all their favorite activities, including arts and crafts, sports, gaga ball, water activities, archery, nature, field trips, and so much more! Each weeks activities will be themed and will include all the classics led by friendly, trained counselors. Campers will get the best of both worlds utilizing the inside of the RiverPlex as well as the outside RiverFront open space and walking trails. Campers will have the most fun while learning and trying new things!

There's more to explore with Proctor Summer Camp! Your children will still benefit from the knowledge learned in the classroom while experiencing fun participating in various activities throughout the day. There is no other camp like it in Peoria. Scholarships available to those who qualify.

Do you have what it takes to be a Zoovivor? We’ll learn how animals outwit, outplay, and outlast! Campers will develop their zoovivor skills with games, crafts, activities and more. We’ll be out exploring the Zoo each day!

Pizza Parties scheduled for the Thursdays, on the following weeks only. Dinner will begin at the conclusion of the camp day, until 7:00 PM.
- June 3rd-7th - Pizza Party on June 6th
- June 24th-28th - Pizza Party on June 27th
- July 15th-19th - Pizza Party on July 18th

Pizza party includes: pizza dinner and an evening animal tour. Parents can pick up campers attending the Pizza Party at the normal pick-up point at 7:00 PM.
